JACOB’S HOUSE ORPHANAGE FOUNDATION
is a reputable not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established on 2020 and was officially registered at Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 9th July, 2024 with Reg. No: 7672774.
An orphanage home that was borne out of passion and purpose in rescuing the less privileged and restoring their hope with sustainable empowerment projects and programs that are educationally, scientifically and practically based that will make them relevant and responsible in the society and Africa at large.
We are a faith-based NGO but primarily put humanity first beyond religion, as God has equipped us to serve him first in all things because service to God is service to humanity. Our faith in God is in line with engaging the less privileged which the Scripture called a pure religion and undefiled before God according to James 1:27.
JACOB’S HOUSE ORPHANAGE, as an organization was envisioned by a leader with excellent spirit, transformational prowess and wealth of experience in social welfare in the person of APOSTLE IFEYINWA UGBALA. Her works in social welfare and raising leaders has speaks volume in the past and now.
JACOB’S HOUSE ORPHANAGE is legally registered in Nigeria at Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in the year 2024 and at EFCC with the Registration Number: RN:SC 171403027 Under The Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML)

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES INCLUDES
1. To care and take the secondary responsibilities of the less privileged as to propagate the practical training in obedience and character transformation.
2. To establish and foster family resource Centre’s to provide information, accommodation, education, and research and recreation facilities to vulnerable children and caregivers
3. To publish, acquire, distribute literature of character molding or of any other nature that would promote their courage and faith with societal values in the lives of the less privileged.
4. To empower the needy members of the community to participate in income generating activities for socio -economic transformations of their homesteads and operate a revolving micro-finance scheme for poverty eradication.
5. To enhance preventive measures against HIV/AIDS and to promote initiative among community members for the care of those individuals and families affected by AIDS.
6. To establish and operate vocational training centers and educational institutions to promote academic excellence for a meaningful lifestyle in the society.

AREAS OF INTERVENTION
OUR THEMATIC AREAS OF INTERVENTION
JACOB’S HOUSE ORPHANAGE operates strategically on the following areas: EDUCATION: We facilitate and promote projects and programs that will give every child access to education as their basic human right. It is the dream of every child in Africa and the world at large to have access to basic needs of life which education is most priority in our list.
ICT: The world is transforming to global age where Information and Communication Technology (ICT) will be the major solutions to events of life. Our ICT programs go beyond classroom to get in touch with young school leavers and the less-privileged in the society.
Our ICT programs are more of empowerment programs, where a participant will be equipped after going through a course in ICT. Small and Medium-Scale Enterprise (SME): Based on our research with local traders on the roadsides and in our local markets, we discovered that 90% cannot grow their incomes rather they only depend on whatever they get today can be used up believing that they will still make some returns the next day without having financial literacy on how to grow their incomes.
We came up with a strategic module that will enable them have knowledge of savings and how to grow their small trading into better business that will give them sense of investment. ENVIRONMENT: We engage in policies and actions that tackle some areas such as climate change, sanitation, air pollution, landscaping and tree planting.

SHORT AND LONG TERM PLAN
In JACOB’S HOUSE ORPHANGE, We took it as an important task in training 100 people both young school leavers and the unskilled individuals annually through vocational training as our short term plan which cost more than three hundred thousand ($300,000) US Dollars which will enable us foster our long term plan that stands in taking our NGO to every part of the developing nations beyond Africa. Our long term plan which is called SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY 2050 (SS2050) which we have budgeted about three hundred billion (300,000,000,000) US Dollars will enable us cut across the nations of the world in making SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY 2050 (SS2050) a reality

By the grace of God, JACOB’S HOUSE ORPHANAGE has been able to establish a school for the less privileged which is called, JARS OF CLAY ACADEMY since last year and through our friends, families and loved ones, we have been catering for the children for their upkeep till date.
